Similarly to the Schools’ program, we cook for daycares under the CCFP [Child Care Food Program]. Here at Dixie we pride ourselves on our quick adaptability in order to fit the needs of [the] daycare: we work all day in order to provide the highest level of service and quality that we can possibly give, and we believe in freshness; in the mornings and afternoons, we receive all of the items that will be necessary in order for our Chefs to work that same night between the hours of 12 AM and 5 AM cooking the meals that schools receive later that morning, around 8 to 9 AM. At the same time that that goes on, we have wonderful kitchen aids who make sure to serve the cooked food and prepare it for delivery. By 6 AM, when our drivers get here, they are able to load everything onto their Company vehicles and arrive at the daycares for breakfast – or at whatever time the schools desire to set their delivery time to be, depending on their schedules. 

We love getting to know our daycares inside out, as it allows us to build a stronger relationship and function as a team. Just like for schools, we do both hot and frozen meals, and individual and bulk meals, at the daycare’s request. Additionally, we carefully follow and abide by all of the imposed CCFP regulations, and are constantly working to deliver the best quality meals to everyone. Please note, we do all of the daycare menus – so you do not have to worry about what cycle you have chosen for your daycare, we are here to make it happen.
