We cater to private and charter schools in many counties all over the State of Florida – some examples are: Miami- Dade, Broward and Collier county. To serve the most nutritious and balanced meals in a more expansive way, we work under the NSLP [National School Food Program], which is the country-wide approved way of serving meals to students; for the schools that are not under the NSLP, we also do private contracts, but always following the State’s regulations in order to make sure all of the meals abide by all of the health requirements. 

Here at Dixie, we work all day in order to provide the highest level of service and quality that we can possibly give, and we believe in freshness; in the mornings and afternoons, we receive all of the items that will be necessary in order for our Chefs to work that same night between the hours of 12 AM and 5 AM cooking the meals that schools receive later that morning, around 8 to 9 AM. At the same time that that goes on, we have wonderful kitchen aids who make sure to serve the cooked food and prepare it for delivery. By 6 AM, when our drivers get here, they are able to load everything onto their Company vehicles and arrive at the schools for breakfast – or at whatever time the schools desire to set their delivery time to be, depending on their schedules. 

We work side by side with the school’s kitchen managers, as we consider ourselves to be a team who strive towards the same goal: people eating high quality, healthy meals; we do both hot and frozen meals, and individual and bulk meals, at the school’s request. Additionally, we carefully follow and abide by all of the imposed regulations, and are constantly working to deliver the best quality meals to all schools.
